The goal of this blog is to provide information on how to work with the chronotext-cross framework in order to produce interactive applications with C++ and OpenGL for multiple platforms, including macOS, Linux, WASM + WebGL, etc.

I’m Ariel Malka, a programmer + designer based in Tel Aviv. I’m working mainly as a freelance developer but in parallel, I’m creating digital artworks. I invite you to check my WebGL portfolio for some samples.

I have been working with Processing and Cinder in the past but around 2015, I’ve come to the conclusion that a new framework was necessary. The idea of write once run everywhere being the main guideline together with a will to treat the browser as a first class target platform.

Who is the target audience for this blog? People with some programming experience willing to extend their knowledge in the domain of computer graphics or creative coders coming from, say, a p5.js background. In any case, you don’t need to be a C++ or OpenGL expert.
